Mandurah Country Club
Situated on the Halls Head “island”, overlooking the City of Mandurah with unsurpassed views of the Indian Ocean, Mandurah Country Club will host the WA open for the first time in 2024.
The course was designed by Murray Dawson and opened in the early 1960s as a 9-hole sand greens course, later upgrading to the 18-hole grass green championship facility you see today.
The par-71 course provides a challenge to golfers of all abilities with narrow, tree-lined fairways, raised greens and strategic bunkering amongst its key defences. For spectators, this is an easy walking course with gentle hills and several excellent, amphitheatre-style vantage points.
The modern clubhouse features a bar and function rooms, a well-stocked pro shop and an upgraded verandah set to open shortly before the WA Open.
With great value green fees and high-calibre practice facilities – including an indoor Trackman-equipped fitting and training area – Mandurah Country Club is the complete golfing package.
The club’s excellence was recognised in it being named the Metropolitan Golf Facility of the Year in 2017, 2019 and 2022 at the WA Golf Industry Awards.
