WA Golf Foundation funding deadline approaching

8th Feb 2023

If you or your club have an initiative aimed at growing the game of golf in your community, please note: applications for the first round of WA Golf Foundation funding for 2023 must be in by the close of business on Wednesday, March 1.

The WA Golf Foundation exists to support the growth of golf at all levels and for all demographics. Over the last decade, the Foundation has funded dozens of programs that promote golf as a means of developing healthy lifestyles, social skills and community values. These include: –

  • Introductory sessions for women, seniors, juniors, Indigenous Australians and those with disabilities
  • Mentoring programs or classes in golf rules and etiquette
  • Golf in schools programs
  • Programs improving access to the sport for those in rural or remote areas, or in socially/economically disadvantaged communities

Golf clubs, facilities and associations, local authorities and schools looking to develop golf programs may all be eligible for funding. You can view the full eligibility criteria here.

This coaching clinic for seniors at Pinjarra is one of dozens of programs funded by the WA Golf Foundation since 2012

The Foundation offers four rounds of funding each year with application deadlines of March 1, May 1, July 1, and October 1. Applicants will be notified of the result of their application within 6 weeks of the closing date. If you’re ready to apply, you can access the online application form here.

The WA Golf Foundation relies on the generosity of donors to continue its support of grassroots golf initiatives. Clubs and individuals can make one-off or monthly donations to the Foundation here. Thank you for your support!
