The Amateur and Mid-Amateur Championships of WA

Dating back to the early 1900s, the Amateur Championships of Western Australia are the state’s most historic and prestigious golf championships for non-professionals.

The 2025 championship will be hosted by Sun City Country Club from March 12-16, with two stroke play qualifying rounds followed by knock-out match play for the leading 32 men and 16 women. Amanda Gan and George Barclay are the defending champions.

This year’s event will once again incorporate the Mid-Amateur Championships of WA for both men and women over the age of 35.
