Magnificent conditions greeted the 50-strong field of women who arrived at Sea View Golf Club for the 2019 Silver Spoon Playoff this morning.
The Silver Spoon Playoff is the culmination of a season-long schedule of stroke play events held at club level.
Tina Relf of Royal Perth Golf Club took home the May Stillman Cup. The trophy is awarded to the player with the lowest aggregate score from their best four nett scores at Club level Silver Spoon events.
Cath Bellmore from Nedlands Golf Club took out gross aggregate honours.
The winners of the International Bowl (lowest nett score of all International Bowl Club rounds) were also announced. Royal Fremantle’s Sarah Choi won Silver honours in the International Bowl with Bernadette Bradley from Katanning Golf Club securing the Bronze.
Sea View Golf Club tested the ladies in the Silver Spoon play-off with some mixed results across the field. Robyn Lamb from Lake Karrinyup Country Club enjoyed a first place in the Grass Greens Nett competition, with Serena Parr from Hopetoun joining the winner’s podium after taking out the Sand Greens Nett.
Thanks to Sea View Golf Club for hosting the 2019 Silver Spoon Playoff. Thanks also to the wonderful team of volunteers who supported the event.
