A final round of 72 has secured Brett Rumford a top 10 finish in his first European Tour appearance of 2014, finishing T10 at the Volvo Golf Champions tournament at Durban Country Club in South Africa.
Rumford finished seven strokes behind South African Louis Oosthuizen who won the event for the second straight year, shooting back to back birdies on the final two holes to overcome compatriot Branden Grace who finished in second place.
Perth International champion Jin Jeong of Korea performed well over the weekend after a slow start. Jeong shot rounds of 68 and 71 on Saturday and Sunday to finish in a tie for 22nd place.
