Western Australian golf history will be made this Saturday when Paul Mews lines up for Australia in the Trans-Tasman Long Drive Clash at Pupuke Golf Club in Auckland.
Mews, a Perth local, is the first West Aussie to feature in the Australian Long Ballers team and he can regularly be found belting balls at Melville Golf Centre.
Saturday’s event will see the Long Ballers face off against the New Zealand Long Blacks. The event tees off at 3 pm (NZDT) and features a host of free activities and attractions that will run alongside the golf.
