Joondalup Country Club will host the exciting 36-hole match play final tomorrow for the 2021 Men’s Division 1-3 Pennant finals.
All eyes will be on the Division One men’s matchup between Joondalup and Lake Karrinyup Country Club. Joondalup’s nineteen year old Connor McKinney had a faultless 62 two days ago off the black tees at a club competition, so he will be a tough one for Lake Karrinyup’s Joe Owen to meet in the number one position.
With Joondalup’s Josh Greer currently competing in the Scottish Open Championship in Dumfries, WA Amateur Champion, sixteen year old Aldrich Potgieter will step up into number two position for JCC to match up against Lake Karrinyup’s Simon Liddell. Both gents have been on top form, with Aldrich’s matchplay run faultless, and thirty two year old Liddell winning the Kelly Rogers Medal at last weeks 2021 Sanwell Cottesloe Open. Lake Karrinyup will be fighting hard to hold onto the Division 1 Flag, winning the 2019 flag.
All divisions will play Joondalup’s magnificent Quarry and Dune nines, and spectators are warmly welcomed to enjoy the club’s hospitality and first class golf viewing.
Division One , Joondalup vs Lake Karrinyup will commence on the Quarry course first tee at 7.15am , with the final round at approximately 11.15.
Division Two, Bunbury vs Hartfield will commence on the Dune Course first tee at 7.45am, with the final round at approximately 11.45am.
Division Three, Melville Glades vs Meadow Springs will commence on the Quarry first teee at 8.00am, with the final round at approximately 12 noon.
