Golf is now an option for visitors to CBCo Brewing following the launch of its new ‘Short Iron Range’.

The Margaret River-based independent brewery has opened a custom-built driving range to give patrons the chance to hit a few golf balls into and over its on-site dam as they sample CBCo’s range of handcrafted beers and ciders (including an alcohol-free option).

The Short Iron Range features six undercover bays to offer protection from the elements and a bar area of its own, while the dam features a number of floating kegs to offer target practice and enable impromptu competition.

As well as offering lunch specials on the range and the colourfully titled ‘John Daly Bottomless Beer & Golf Package’, a free-to-enter hole-in-one competition will take place every Friday evening with a prize jackpot that will roll over until it’s won.

“We are always looking for new ways to deliver fun and unique experiences to our customers, and what better way to do that than by hitting a few golf balls while enjoying a pint on the properties’ sprawling farmland?” said CBCo Managing Director Lawrence Dowd.

“Our Short Iron Range is the first of its kind in the area, and we look forward to welcoming locals, beer-lovers and visitors to the new space.”

The Short Iron Range is open every day of the week during CBCo Brewing’s regular opening hours. Find out more information here.
