Hannah Green joins forces with WA Golf Foundation

28th Jan 2020

On behalf of the WA Golf Foundation, we are thrilled to announce the Foundation’s newest Ambassador, Hannah Green!

Hannah’s story is just one of a great many success stories. Now a 2019 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship winner, Hannah is always the first to fly the flag for her home state of WA and pay homage to the support she received from the golfing community as an amateur player.

The WA Golf Foundation exists to provide opportunities for people of all walks of life to play, learn and love the game. Not just for its unrivalled sportsmanship but even more so, for the values and community which come alongside it.

It’s the equal opportunity golf provides for all people to be players, regardless of age, gender, physical ability, cultural background, or fitness which truly sets us apart.

Many of the smaller regional clubs in WA do not have the resources to implement new programs and initiatives and this is when the Foundation plays a vital role in funding new programs.

Since 2012, the WAGF has funded 114 programs (as of December 2019) and we are seeing some great success stories in many clubs already.

Could your program be the next?
