WA’s Oliver Goss will make his first appearance in Perth as a professional this October after adding his name to a growing list of players confirmed to tackle Lake Karrinyup Country Club as a part of the European Tour.
The Royal Fremantle product turned professional earlier this year after finishing as the lead amateur at the US Maters and participating in the US Open.
Goss joins a field that contains three former major winners in Jason Dufner, Charl Schwartzel and Victoria’s Geoff Ogilvy as well as five-time European Tour winner Brett Rumford.
Both Goss and Rumford are previous champions of the WA Open held the week prior at Cottesloe Golf Club however neither have confirmed if they will be available to play at this stage.
The Perth International will run from October 23rd and 26th and GolfWA is still filling it’s volunteer roster for the event. volunteers have the best chance to get up and close with the professionals, working as hole marshals, leaderboard operators and assisting the professionals on the driving range.
