GolfWA State Squads

Announced annually, the GolfWA State Squads are a pool of players from which we select our teams for the junior and open-age Australian Interstate Teams Matches.

Our final teams are selected through the use of various criteria including stroke averages, World Amateur Golf Rankings, performances in state and interstate events, personal attributes and player form. It is not uncommon for highly rated juniors to also be named in the open squads and be selected for the open WA team.
