GolfWA High Performance Program
The GolfWA High Performance Program (HPP) is a targeted initiative for the most outstanding golfers in Western Australia.
The HPP has multiple initiatives across various age groups and abilities aimed at discovering, supporting and championing Western Australia’s most talented golfers. GolfWA collaborates with a community of like-minded athletes, coaches and service providers who facilitate the processes to support and empower elite performance.
The program starts through Talent Identification (TID) and Talent Development Programs (TDP) to support junior athletes’ path to the HPP and our Junior State Squads. Selection into the HPP Tier Funding is earned through successfully meeting and maintaining various performance indicators across an extended period of time, with benchmarks put in place to determine the support received from GolfWA.
All contributors to the program – including parents, athletes, staff and service providers – sit under an athlete-inspired set of core values that set a benchmark of cultural and performance expectations for the benefit of every team member.
We have a proud history of producing world-class golfers and continue to invest into the next generation of elite amateurs and successful professionals. Past graduates from our programs include women’s Major champions Minjee Lee and Hannah Green, DP World Tour winner Min Woo Lee, and Ladies’ European Tour star Kirsten Rudgeley.
