What is your golfing timetable on an average week?
I try to head down to the golf course everyday after school for a couple of hours, and I also might practice at home. On the weekends, I tend to spend more time on the course practicing all aspects of my game and playing holes at either Mount Lawley or Royal Perth.
What is the best aspect of your game and how did you get so good at it?
At the moment, the best part of my game would have to be my irons. I got accurate with my irons by going on the range and doing drills my coach has given me.
What’s the best advice you would give to a junior golfer just starting out in the game?
I would advise them to have fun with your friends while playing and don’t be too hard on yourself if things aren’t going your way. If you aren’t playing well, then use it as a motivation to practice harder.
What do you consider your best achievement in golf so far, and why?
There are a few achievements that I am pretty proud of so far. My biggest wins would probably be the Cobra Puma Championship in July and the Sub Junior Jack Newton International in NSW last year. In both of these events I played really well amongst strong fields. I was also very proud to be selected in the WA junior state team this year.
Why would you recommend young golfers get into competitive golf as early as they can (e.g. Crunch&Sip Junior Tour)?
I think playing in tournaments at a young age gives you experience that you build on as you get older. It also allows you to play at many different amazing courses and meet friends outside of your home club.
What is your ultimate golfing ambition?
My dream is to become a professional golfer on the LPGA and win a major. I also would love to represent Australia at the Olympics!
Which golf event would you most like to win?
As an amateur it would be my dream to win the Augusta National Women Amateur and as a professional, I would love to win the Amundi Evian Championships as it’s been my dream since I was very young.
What’s the best course you’ve ever played, and where would you most like to play that you haven’t already?
The best course I’ve ever played is The Dubai Creek in the UAE, and my dream course to play in is the Augusta National Golf Club.
One thing you’d change about golf?
I would allow free drops from divots on the fairway- it can get quite annoying if you are stuck in a bad lie after a great shot!
Favourite golfers
Nelly Korda, because she is an iconic player who was world number 1 for a long time. The way she carries herself out on the golf course is inspiring and her whole game is close to perfection. Also Viktor Hovland, because he has a positive mindset and the way he plays the game is inspiring. He’s one of the better players on the tour and his technique is really good.
Describe yourself in 3 words
Determined, confident, diligent.
Post-golf dinner of choice

What music are you listening to on the range?
Probably rap or R&B, my favourite artist is The Weeknd.
Who would you most like to play fourball with (can be non-golfers)?
Tiger Woods, Nelly Korda, Niall Horan.
