Rain has marred the opening round of the Callaway Junior Championships at Melville Glades Golf Club this morning, with the inclement weather meaning the first 18 holes had to be abandoned.
Players began the day in difficult conditions and despite the best efforts of all, the round couldn’t continue, with the call coming around 12.30pm.
The tournament will now be shortened to an 18-hole event, with the round to kick off tomorrow at 11.20am.
