Bunbury’s Danny Ennor and Greg Golinski had an emphatic win today at the Drummond Golf Country Week Foursomes Championships held at Royal Fremantle Golf Club.
An opening round of 70 set the standard for the day, as the pair raced away to win by nine strokes over the field in the 36 hole event, with a total of 148.
Adam Davey (Busselton) and Shaye Terzie (Capel) earned the runner-up honours with rounds of 77 and 80.
Country Week has been kind to Bunbury’s Ennor, who has already won seven Country Week Strokeplay Titles, a competition that will be held Thursday at Nedlands Golf Club.
The 2014 Drummond Golf Men’s Country Week is held over 15 metropolitan golf courses, with just under 400 country golfers making the trip to the metropolitan area to take part. The week is highlighted by the Country Foursomes and Strokeplay Championships, as well as the City vs Country championships held on the Friday at Nedlands.
