Winston Abraham has claimed the NAIDOC Cup for 2018 after firing a nett total of 67 to take out the competition at the Western Australian Golf Club on Monday.
Abraham, a former premiership player at North Melbourne Football Club, was a cut above the rest of the field – finishing as the winner of the nett division in glorious conditions at the Yokine course.
The stroke play event is a celebration of NAIDOC week, with a number of metropolitan clubs taking part in the exciting event.
John Wallace (Lake Karrinyup) took out the gross division with a four-over-par 74.
All profits go to the Nyoongar Golf Clubs’ ‘Memberships for Inclusion & Wellbeing for the Less Fortunate’, Closing The Gap Club Program.
