The Buddy Club program is continuing to build throughout 2018 with Royal Perth hosting a successful golf day for their regional area last week.
Nine clubs featured throughout the competition including the likes of Three Springs, Goldfields, Latham, Leinster and many more.
Coorow claimed the first Buddy Club Challenge with Three Springs and Leinster finishing second and third respectively.
Royal Perth Golf Operations Manager Brent Dawkins believes the day was extremely enjoyable and would only grow in the years to come.
“The day was an outstanding success and enjoyed by not only the country members but the Royal Perth members who partnered with them on the day,” Dawkins said.
“The club plans to grow on this day and make this a yearly event as well as some planned visits by Royal Perth members to attend our Buddy Clubs courses during 2019.”
“We look forward to fostering these relationships over the coming years.”
The format for the day was 4BBB Stableford with Royal Perth members joining in the festivities to foster more relationships with the country clubs.
Royal Perth follows in the footsteps of Cottesloe in hosting a Buddy Club Challenge day.
Lake Karrinyup Country Club visited many of their Buddy Clubs in 2018 further enhancing partnerships throughout Western Australia.
