Jordan Doull’s return to Perth is yet to yield a loss, defeating Craig Tolchard 1up in an enthralling battle, while Jayson Watson and Rob Hart had relatively easy wins at no.3 and 4.

Royal Perth clinched a classic over Mandurah with two heavyweights of the competition going head-to-head on Sunday afternoon.

Reigning premiers Lake Karrinyup escaped with a 4-3 win over a young Joondalup side, led by journeymen Matt Bowra and Nick Curnow.
Joondalup’s Carter Mealing caused the upset of the day beating a more-fancied Joe Owen 2&1, while 14-year old Tom Addy narrowly went down to Bowra 2&1.
Despite Mount Lawley sitting in front after two rounds, several sides packed with talent make up the chasing pack.
The competition moves to Royal Perth Golf Club next weekend.
Royal Fremantle and Bunbury are the early front runners in Division 2 after maintaining their unbeaten start to the campaign at Melville Glades over the weekend.
Bunbury claimed a narrow victory over Lakelands 4-3 in a tense fixture, while Royal Fremantle whitewashed the Vines 7-0 in a one sided contest.
Tim Golotti, Stephen Gibbs, Nick Liebenberg all gained victories for Bunbury to steer the side home.
Hartfield was the other side to claim a win defeating WA Golf Club 5-2.
Rockingham Golf Club played host to Division 3 on Sunday with Kwinana sitting alone on top of the ladder after two rounds.
Kwinana, Nedlands and Wanneroo were the big winners from the weekend with the competition tightening up early in thefixture.
Nedlands proved too strong with a 6-1 win over Meadow Springs – with wins at the top from Kayne Warden and Tony McFadyean leading from the front.
Paul Dillion won the decisive fixture for Wanneroo against Sea View to give them a 4-3 victory.

A consistent team performance has led WA Golf Club to an undefeated start to their season in Division 4 after a tight victory over Lake Karrinyup at Cottesloe on Sunday.
Neville Delane and Liam Barclay claimed early wins before Dave Hankin finished off the fixture with a 2&1 victory at six.
Royal Perth has dropped just three matches to share top spot on the ladder – with the dominant side defeating a struggling Lakelands 6.5-0.5.
Chequers lead the way in Division 5, with a 4.5-2.5 victory over The Vines putting them a game clear after two rounds.
Mount Lawley and Sea View also captured victories at Mosman Park – claiming their first wins of the year.
Lakelands picked up their first points of 2018 in Division 6 after a thrilling 4-3 win over WA Golf Club at Royal Perth Golf Club on Sunday.
Wanneroo and The Vines remain the teams to beat, as both sit on four points each at the top.
The Vines are one point clear of rivals Lakelands in Division 7 with round two held at Mount Lawley Golf Club over the weekend.
Carter Mealing (Joondalup)
Lake Karrinyup and Mosman Park played out the game of the round with a titanic battle resulting in a 3.5-3.5 halve between the two sides.
A last gasp win to Lake Karrinyup’s Mike Nicoloff over Merv Howe 3&1 was enough to secure a half from the fixture.
WA Golf Club, The Vines and Sun City all put in dominant performances in Division 8 to blow the competition open at Chequers Golf Club.
Joondalup and Lakelands could only muster 2 matches between them in a tough round for all involved.
Lake Karrinyup remains the only side to have won two games in Division 9 with Wanneroo looking a likely challenge after round two at Chequers.
The Vines was also secured two points on Sunday.

Royal Fremantle look streaks above the rest of the competition in the early running of Division 4, with the side boasting a 13-1 win/loss record after two rounds.
Secret Harbour and Pinjarra are in second position a point behind, with the pair halving in their contest at Melville Glades on Sunday.
Division Five was held at Hartfield over the weekend with leaders Kennedy Bay and Bunbury earning tough victories in their respective fixtures.
Royal Perth kept the pressure on the leading sides with a strong win over Royal Fremantle.
Hartfield continues to dominate Division 6 after a comfortable 7-0 win over Kennedy Bay at Rockingham Golf Club, with Bunbury also getting off the mark in 2018.
Division 7 is shaping as the closest competition throughout the grades with two points separating 1st and 7th position on the table after two rounds.
No team has managed to put two fixtures together over the first two weeks with leading premiership candidates Pinjarra and Hartfield playing out an enthralling 3.5-3.5 halve.
