The South Australian Junior Amateur Championships at Kooyonga Golf Club came to an exciting end today, with Western Australian players taking out first and third place for the boys and third for the girls.
Carter Mealing from Joondalup Country Club came back from scores of 71 and 73 for rounds one and two respectively to make a 68 and claim first place with a narrow one point lead in a show-stopping third round.
From Mt Lawley Golf Club, Jordan Jung took out third place with a two point lead over fourth after consistent performance in rounds one and two.
Brooke Price from The Vines also gave her best performance in round three, scoring 74 and securing her an equal third place.
