After its exhilarating debut last year, the Mini Golf Championship of WA will return in November, with more big prizes up for grabs.

Dubbed the most fun, accessible and inclusive golf competition of them all, the Mini Golf Championship of WA is open to all and represents a chance for even non-golfers to win a bona fide state golf title.

Three qualifying rounds will take place in early November at Collier Park, The Vines and Wembley ahead of the Grand Final at Wembley on Saturday, November 16. The dates and times of the qualifiers are: –

Saturday, November 2: Collier Park Mini Golf, 10am – midday
Saturday, November 2: The Vines Mini Golf, 10am – midday
Saturday, November 9: Wembley Mini Golf, 9am – midday

This year’s event again features OpenJunior (14 & Under) and All Abilities (golfers with physical, mental or sensory impairments) categories. The top pairings in each category from each qualifying venue will qualify for the Grand Final, where they will compete for winner-takes-all cash and golf swag prizes.

Played in a pairs better ball format (best score per hole counts to the team total), The winners of the Open category will share $1000, with $500 top prizes in the Junior and All Abilities divisions.

The cost to compete is $55 per pair in the Open event and $40 per pair for Juniors/All Abilities. Please note: juniors and adults can compete in the same pair, but must enter the Open category.

Last year’s event saw more than 100 pairings vying for glory, with 26 teams qualifying for the Grand Final. The titles went to Ross Nagle and John Taylor (Open); Jackson Tait and Ethan Hews (Junior); and Harry Pigdon and Tom Robertson (All Abilities). The age range of finalists ranged from 8-70+.
