The spoils were shared for the fourth time in eight years with Western Australian pair Hannah Green and her partner,
World Number 1 amateur Minjee Lee sharing the title with New South Wales pair Doey Choi and Shelly Shin.
Lee and Green finished with rounds of 74 and 73 for their 147 total while Choi and Shin fired the best round of the day in the afternoon, a 2-under par 71 to go with their morning 76 for their 147.
New South Wales pair Olivia Wilson and Aliza Huff finished three strokes back in a tie for third with Queensland pair Ali Orchard and Anna Stanton.
The Australian Women’s Interstate Teams Matches begins on Tuesday at Gungahlin Lakes Golf Club.
Australian Men’s Foursomes Championships – Federal Golf Club, Canberra
Queenslanders Aaron Wilkin and Taylor MacDonald became the first pair in the history of the championship to successfully defend their Australian Men’s Foursomes title.
The pair, who won at Riversdale Golf Club in Melbourne in 2013, did so again in emphatic style with a seven stroke win in Canberra.
Wilkin and MacDonald lit up the course in the morning round with an 8-under par 64. They followed up with a 5-under par afternoon score for their 131 total.
Victorians Ben Eccles and Todd Sinnott and Lucas Herbert and Geoff Drakeford were tied in second place on 138.
South Australian pair Anthony Murdaca and Justin Crowder finished fourth.
