Royal Fremantle’s Minjee Lee is just two shots back from the lead ahead of tomorrow’s final round at the RACV Volvik Ladies Masters on the Gold Coast.
Lee is currently the best placed of the Australians in outright third at 10-under, two shots behind leader Cheyenne Woods at 12-under.
Six birdies highlighted Lee’s round, including back to back birdies on the final two holes to briefly send her into a tie for the lead, before Woods raced home with back to back birdies of her own.
The Australian Amateur Champion is hunting for her first win and her second straight top 5 finish in a professional event, with a T5 finish to her name from last month’s NSW Womens Open.
