WA’s Hannah Green and Jarryd Felton will both take a lead into the final rounds of Tasmania’s National Ranking amateur tournaments in Launceston.
Green is two strokes up at 3-over in the Elvie Whitesides 72 Hole Championship after her 1-under round of 70 today. Queensland’s Gennai Goodwin is two back of Green after shooting a tournament best round of 68.
Felton shot his second straight round of 66 to move from a tie in second place to the outright lead at 11-under at the Tasmanian Open. Tomorrow looks to be a shootout between Felton and Queensland’s Kade McBride who is a shot behind at 10-under, with daylight separating the pair and the rest of the field with third placed Jordan Cooper six back of Felton at 5-under.
Curtis Luck had another strong round, shooting 69 to move up to seventh place at 1-under par.
