Eric Hall joins GolfWA Board of Directors

GolfWA has welcomed Eric Hall to its Board after long-time Director Ian Crockett retired at March’s AGM.

Hall (pictured below) has been a member of Narrogin Golf Club since 1999 and is in his second stint as Club President after previously holding the role from 2002-04. He is a Director of Australian Farm Investments Pty Ltd and specialises in providing advice and to overseas and local investors in broad-acre agriculture.

Crockett served his maximum term as a GolfWA Director having joined the board in 2012. During that time, he has sat on several committees and was the most recent Chair of the Business Development Committee. Crockett also Chaired the WA Golf Foundation – and will continue to serve as a Trustee.

GolfWA Chief Executive Gary Thomas welcomed Hall’s appointment, saying: “Eric’s experience incorporates a high level of corporate governance and financial management and we look forward to him making an extremely valuable contribution to the board in the coming months and years.”

Paying tribute to Crockett, Thomas added: “Ian has been a great servant to GolfWA and to golf in WA for more than a decade. On behalf of the Board and all our affiliate members, I’d like to thank Ian and wish him well for the future.

“We’re very pleased that Ian will be continuing on the WA Golf Foundation because he has made an outstanding contribution to its success since it was launched in 2012.”
