WA’s Kirsten Rudgeley leads by a confident five strokes going into the fourth and final round of the South Australian Amateur Classic & Rene Erichsen Salver. The combined men’s and women’s competition is being played at the Royal Adelaide Golf Club and is well represented by a strong West Aussie contingent.
Mount Lawley’s Rudgeley has been steadily mastering the course with rounds of 70, 69 and 68 giving her a strong lead over Jeneath Wong and Kelsey Bennett.
I’m just going to keep my focus and be consistent tomorrow. One hole at a time.
Royal Fremantle’s Hayden Hopewell sits in second position narrowly behind NSW’s Harry Bolton. Hopewell had a tremendous start with rounds of 68 and 66 and is confident about the final round ahead.
I have to come out of the blocks tomorrow and play fearless! There are birdies out there. The greens are going to be firm and fast, but they are rolling smooth. My strategy tomorrow is to believe in myself and make those birdies!
WA’s Haydn Barron and Abbie Teasdale find themselves both at T9 going into the final round. Keep an eye on tomorrow’s final round live scores from Royal Adelaide.
Curly and Houdini might just make the news again!
