The highly anticipated 2021 Men’s Pennant Season will come to a close on Sunday 30th May, after seven rounds of intense, exciting golf. In Division One, Joondalup Country Club holds a clear lead securing them the right to host the 36-hole final competition.
Joondalup have maintained a stronghold on the top position throughout the season, undefeated week on week, winning an outstanding forty out of forty-nine matches. Lake Karrinyup, WA Golf Club and Cottesloe Golf Club have all given the Joondalup boys some fantastic challenges, but it will be tough, but certainly not impossible for the Lake Karrinyup chaps to work some magic in the finals. It was the closest match played in Round 5 where Joondalup only narrowly won the match 4-3, with lead Joondalup players Connor McKinney and Josh Greer falling to Lake Karrinyup’s Joe Owen and Simon Liddell. The 36 hole finals brings a challenging element of stamina which will require clever match play and focus from all.
Joondalup have some serious confident young talent in their Division One lineup with the likes of McKinney, Greer, Potgieter and Addy, well-rehearsed on this challenging course.
Spectators are warmly welcomed to support the clubs and enjoy the first-class golf and hospitality on offer at Joondalup Country Club which will also host the finals for Division Two and Three.

Bunbury Golf Club has had a strong season in Division Two sitting top of the leaderboard narrowly ahead of Hartfield Country Club. It will be an interesting final and battle for promotion, as Bunbury are ahead in points but were defeated in Round six confidently by the Hartfield boys.
