At the recently completed Nexus Advisernet WA Open, a come ‘n try Hickory Golf clinic was conducted which certainly generated some interest. Hickory Golf WA will be conducting two events over the coming months and are encouraging anyone who may be interested to participate.
Co-ordinator Dan Cullen states “Our group’s aim is to play with and promote the use of antique golf equipment, whilst revering the history of the game. So track down those hickory clubs from Dad’s or Grandad’s shed, dust them off and let’s have a hit with them. As well as the two events in coming weeks, there are more events planned this year which will be published shortly.”
