The 2023 Crunch&Sip GolfWA Junior Tour is officially underway after the first event of the year took place at Royal Perth Golf Club.
A field of 68 boys and girls competed in various comps and skills contests, with many outstanding performances on the day. Sharanya Mohan was the Stableford winner after amassing 24 points over 10 holes, with four more players only separated on countbacks after tying on 20 points.
There was also a 10-hole modified stroke play event, which was again closely contested. Allayna Engel claimed top spot on a countback from Felix Molokhov after both finished with 58.
Elsewhere, there were nine-hole and five-hole ‘Tiger Tee’ contests for the youngest and least experienced players, ensuring our golfers and parents had plenty of fun and exercise in the Perth summer sunshine.

GolfWA would like to express its thanks to Royal Perth for being such great hosts, to all our volunteers, and to Royal Perth’s very own Spencer Harrison, a Junior Tour graduate himself who put the players through their paces during the chipping contest and rules challenge.
The next event on the 2023 schedule is in March at Gosnells Golf Club. Entries will open soon. For more info on the 2023 Crunch&Sip GolfWA Junior Tour and how to get involved visit the Crunch Club section of our website.
