How to enter Junior Events
Anyone under the age of 18 can join any junior golf events in Western Australia.
Junior golf events in WA are either run by Golf WA or the club itself. Any club junior opens are managed by the host club and any state level junior events are under the management of Golf WA.
With the exception of the Smarter than Smoking MyGolf Tour events, all participants in the Golf WA events require a valid Golf Australia handicap. State events may also introduce a handicap limit depending on the ballot of players.

Club Open Junior Events
Club open junior events are run exclusively by the host club. Valid Golf Australia handicap may not be required in some club open junior events (please see above fixtures for list of club open junior events)

Tiger Tees Concept
Tiger Tee Golf is a modified form of golf suitable for young developing players. It allows young players to experience the game of golf on a shortened course with modified rules.
Most importantly this form of golf is designed to introduce new players and their parents to the wonderful game of golf with emphasis on having FUN through participation and enjoyment.
Tiger Tee golf is one of three divisions played in the Smarter than Smoking MyGolf Tour

Australian Secondary Schools Team Championship
The Australian Secondary Schools Teams Championship is open to all secondary schools in Australia (i.e. players in years 7 to 12). Each team consists of 3 players (boys, girls or mixed).
Each State Association conducts a State Final, with the winning team from each State Final contesting the Australian Final. The Australian Final is played over 36-holes Stableford, with the best two of the three scores to count each day.

Western Australia Primary Schools Championship
Golf WA in partnership with School Sport WA will be holding the Western Australia Primary Schools Championship. This event is open to any students in primary school years.
School Sport WA Secondary School Championship
School Sport WA will be holding its WA Secondary School Championship this year at Melville Glades Golf Club on 11 June 2012. Its open to boys and girls (year 7 - 12).
Nominations close 18th May
Stroke Averages WA
Golf WA keeps a record of all the scores of each player in every junior golf events in Western Australia. Invitations to the Handa Junior Masters and Tournament of Champions are based on the top players in the stroke averages.
