History
State Junior Champion Bowl- Ivie Temperley
Originally the State Junior Championship was played as a stroke event in conjunction with the State Championships, and Ivie Temperley presented the two trophies for the best scores over 36 holes. Subsequently it became necessary to include match play into the Junior Championship for it to be consistent with the other States and be eligible for Women's Golf rating. This is therefore now played as a separate event and the Ivie Temperley Cup is presented to the State Junior Champion.
Sub Junior Champion Bowl - Juvell Cup
The Juvell Cup was presented by a jeweller with whom Women's Golf has had some business. They did not seek the trophy and it was never inscribed.
Schoolgirls Golf Foundation Shield (High School Team)
This was donated to Women's Golf to be awarded annually to the team of two girls from the same school who returned the best score for this event.
Kay Lane Classic Cup
Donated by Kay Lane (Past President & Life Member) in 1997 for the Junior Girls Classic when Women's Golf ran approx. 6 Junior competition days a year.
Junior events except State Championships were stopped after 2005 (junior funding was given to the GMJGF only) and the Kay Lane Trophy was given at the State Junior Championships to the Best Nett 27 Holes (changed due to bad weather from 36 holes) in 2006.
2010 Winner: Jayde Panos (LKCC)
