2011 Boys Champion - Curtis Luck (CGC)
Curtis Luck from Cottesloe Golf Club was the winner of the 2011 WA Boys' State Amateur at Kwinana Golf Club.
Curtis shot rounds of 72 and 70 to win by 1 shot from Jarryd Felton of Gosnells Golf Club. In third place a further 2 shots behind was Lukas Michel from Lake Karrinyup Country Club.
Format of Event
The 2011 Smarter Than Smoking WA Boys Amateur Championship was played together with the WA Girls Amateur Championship on the 27 November at Kwinana Golf Club.
WA State Junior Boys Amateur is an Australian Junior Ranking event and is a 36 holes stroke event.
The event is open to all male amateur golfers under the age of 18 as of 1 January of the event year. All players must have an official Australian handicap of a maximum 36 or less.
Trophies are awarded to state junior amateur champion, winner, runner up, third and nett in each division. Winners are limited to one trophy each.
